Working & Technical Details

The Plough Shear Mixer is designed to handle granular, powdery, short-fiber dry materials, liquid additions to dry materials, and low-viscosity paste or liquid mixing applications. The recommended filling capacity of the mixing drum generally ranges between 30% to 70%, depending on the material and process requirement.

The mixer is equipped with a motor-driven rotating shaft, and the speed can be adjusted according to the nature of the material being processed. Once the required speed is achieved, the specially designed plough-shaped mixing tools create a powerful three-dimensional movement inside the drum.

This movement lifts and disperses the material away from the drum wall, ensuring fast, uniform, and homogeneous mixing. The optimized angle of the plough blades prevents material buildup and reduces the chances of particles getting crushed between the drum wall and the blades.
